Nurseries Athena participates in the mass reproduction of Greek tulips to be used in field and greenhouse experiments. It hosts pilot crop cultivations (5 species of Greek tulips) in the field and in the company’s greenhouses. The company participates in the application of the experimental design, the fertilization regimes, in the evaluation of experimental treatments, in productivity and quality assessments of flower production and in all the measurements required for the development of cultivation protocols, and will also contribute to dissemination actions.
